Sheikh Al-Mashaikh Khwaja Pir Muhammad Aslam Qadri Quds-Sarrah-e-Aziz

My father, Qutb-ul-Awliya, Ustad Al-Asatizah, Zahid-e-Riya, Sheikh Al-Mashaikh, Hazrat Maulana Pir Muhammad Aslam Qadri Quds-Sarrah-e-Aziz, was born on Friday, 11th Ramadan 1347 AH, in a great scholarly and spiritual family in Mararian Sharif, Gujarat. According to the written family tree available here from ancient times, his lineage reaches back to Amir-ul-Momineen Sayyiduna Ali in the 39th line. He is the honorable son and successor of the great jurist Hazrat Maulana Haj Muhammad Nek-Alam Qadri (may Allah have mercy on him). Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Nek-Alam Qadri (may Allah have mercy on him) was a great jurist of his time, an unparalleled expert teacher of Arabic and Islamic sciences, a night-awake, a perfect saint, and a close and honorable friend of the Prophet. His scholarly prowess can be gauged from the fact that Muhaddith Bhikhi Sharif Hazrat Allama Syed Muhammad Jalaluddin Shah (may Allah have mercy on him) and many other eminent scholars acquired or completed their religious studies from him. How much of a worshipper were you?
Your student Rashid, Sheikh of the Madrasasin Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Nawaz Sahib Kailani, founder of Jamia Madinat-ul-Ilm Gujranwala, says that my respected teacher Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Nek Alam Qadri (may Allah have mercy on him) used to recite at least 18 paras daily even during his illness and infirmity and he had not memorized the Quran regularly but after reciting he became a Hafiz of the Quran. Khalifa Hazrat Sher Rabbani Mr. Syed Muhammad Yaqub Shah (may Allah have mercy on him) of Majra Sharif near Kunjah, for some reason, the Ziyarat Nabvi was stopped, so he came to Marariyan Sharif naked on the banks of the Ravi River on the guidance of a magician. With the prayers of Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Nek Alam Qadri (may Allah have mercy on him), he was blessed with the Ziyarat Nabvi that same night. After that, he would always come to Mararian Sharif barefoot and say that Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Nik Alam Qadri is so close to the Prophet’s presence and court that if Shariah Sharif allowed anyone to be called a Companion of the Prophet in this era, I would openly call Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Nik Alam Qadri a Companion of the Prophet. One of the countless miracles of Hazrat is this

He prayed for rain in the Nala Bhimbar during a very dry season, at that moment a black cloud appeared and it started raining heavily and people returned drenched, whereas before the prayer there was not a single cloud in the sky. Many witnesses of this miracle of his are still alive in the places of Mararian Sharif and Sahinwal Kalan etc.
Our father (may Allah have mercy on him) was brought up in the embrace of his great father, the scholar Maulana Muhammad Nik Alam Qadri (may Allah have mercy on him). He received his early education from his father (may Allah have mercy on him), then he completed the most important books of Dars Nizami from the distinguished teachers of the country. He studied Arabic at Jamia Fazliya Batala Sharif (India). He not only studied Dars Nizami but also continued to teach Dars Nizami from the beginning to the end of Hadith and would solve the problems of Dars Nizami to great and capable teachers in a matter of moments. He was a skilled religious scholar, a master of asceticism and a fighter, as well as an expert in wisdom and practicality. He served humanity selflessly throughout his life through wisdom and practicality and countless people benefited from him in these areas as well.
On 7 Muharram 1367 AH, he took oath of allegiance to Hazrat Syedna Pir Syed Nazar Mohiuddin Shah Sahib (may Allah have mercy on him), the eighth resident of Batala Sharif (India), on the day of Ghaus, and under his special supervision, he completed all the stages of the path with great effort and dedication. He underwent difficult and difficult austerities in the cold waters of the canals, mountains, caves, in the holy places of India, Kashmir, Iraq, the holy Hijaz and in countless monasteries of other countries, which are unparalleled in this era. Your Guru and Guide (may Allah have mercy on him) declared you as his spiritual son and granted you the written caliphate only among his caliphs and twice appointed you as his special representative and sent you to Baghdad Sharif. Apart from Batala Sharif, you were granted caliphates separately by three Naqeeb-ul-Ashraf personalities of Baghdad Sharif. 1. Naqeeb-ul-Ashraf Sayyiduna Hazrat Mahmud Husamuddin Al-Gilani Al-Baghdadi (may Allah have mercy on him) 2. Naqeeb-ul-Ashraf Sayyiduna Ibrahim Saifuddin Al-Gilani Al-Baghdadi (may Allah have mercy on him) 3. Naqeeb-ul-Ashraf Sayyiduna Ahmad Zafar Al-Gilani Al-Baghdadi (may Allah have mercy on him) In addition, the Qutb of Madinah, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Ziauddin Madani (may Allah have mercy on him), the role model of the saints, Hazrat Syedna Tahir Alauddin Al-Gilani Al-Baghdadi (may Allah have mercy on him), Hazrat Muhaddith-e-Azam Hind Kachchhovi (may Allah have mercy on him), Mufti-e-Azam Hazrat Syed Abu al-Barakat Shah (may Allah have mercy on him), Syedna Salem Gilani, the key bearer of Dargah-e-Alia Baghdad Sharif (may Allah have mercy on him), Hazrat Syedna Syed Yusuf al-Sayyid Hashim al-Rifai (may Allah have mercy on him), and countless other Sufis of Islam bestowed caliphates of various spiritual orders on my esteemed father (may Allah have mercy on him). Brother of the Tariqat, Maulana Muhammad Afzal Butt, employee of WAPDA Division No. 1, Gujarat, has written in his Tashanat. Hazrat Khwaja Pir Muhammad Aslam Qadri (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Hazrat Syedna Ghaus-e-Azam (may Allah have mercy on him) ordered me to take the oath of allegiance from people in the Ghausiyya order, so I said, “O my Lord! I am not capable of that.” Then Hazrat Ghaus-e-Azam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Whoever swears allegiance at your hand will swear allegiance at my hand.” He says that after that I started the process of swearing allegiance.
Hazrat Jadd Amjad Maulana Haj Muhammad Nek-e-Alam Qadri (may Allah have mercy on him) continued to teach local and traveling students in the Mararian Sharif Mosque throughout his life. Up to two hundred students used to study with him from the Quran to the most advanced books of Dars-e-Nizami, but he
Did not build a permanent building for the religious seminary. Hazrat father (may Allah have mercy on him) in a dream, on the orders of Hazrat Ghaus-ul-Azam (may Allah be pleased with him), after the death of his father in February 1958, laid the foundation of Jamia Qadria Alamiya, adjacent to the shrine of Hazrat Aqdas, in the south of Mararian Sharif. Initially, the area was only two and a half marlas. Praise be to Allah! Today, the area of this institution is more than 30 kanals, in which separate and magnificent schools and a grand Jamia Masjid and Eid Gah Qadria Alamiya have been built for the students. And more projects are being worked on. And free food, free accommodation and free education have been arranged for about 1000 traveling students. Thousands of students have graduated from Jamia Qadria Alamiya (Qadria Alamiya University) and are performing important religious services in the country and abroad. And at present, more than 300 branches have been established in Pakistan, Kashmir, Europe, America and other countries, which are increasing day by day.
Among his other virtues is that he was a great man who worked hard, practiced asceticism and struggled in religious matters. He would be engaged in worship from 1 am to 1 pm, and later, he would be engaged in the reformation and guidance of the people and the arrangements and education of the religion of Jamia Qadriya Alamiya until late at night. During this time, he would make full arrangements to reject the Qadianis and other false sects and would also participate in meetings. Some people strongly and fiercely opposed the establishment of Jamia Qadriya Alamiya. There was even an assassination attempt, but he always remained steadfast and never panicked. He always stood firm in difficult situations and the help of Allah Almighty was with him.
He was extremely generous. He would explain the duties, practices and prescriptions to every seeker of Saluk, whether he was a follower or not, with extensive scope and would make notes and he would train the spiritually of the person in whom he saw a little spiritual taste and would provide him with great blessings. He had immense respect for the Sadat, and had immense love and affection for the great personality of Hazrat Ghaus-ul-Azam (RA), therefore, he respected the Sadat relatively more and offered offerings. He provided financial assistance to the needy and the beggars as per his ability. When guests came from Arabia and Iraq, he would serve them immensely. Before prosperity, Arabs used to come to him in large numbers and he would serve them immensely and encourage others as well.
He was a great preacher of Durood Sharif during his time, he had assigned countless people to recite Durood Sharif and he himself would often establish Durood Sharif circles and would mostly tell the distressed people the duty of reciting Durood Sharif, Durood Sharif Khizri, Durood Sharif Hazara, Durood Ghousia, Durood Tanjina and many other Durood Sharifs, he would keep them hidden and distribute them during his travels and visits. He used to teach special people the following act of Durood Sharif for troubles and complaints: Recite Durood Sharif Hazara 11 thousand times and end it with something sweet and distribute that sweet thing among children, this would benefit people. And he used to teach special companions the specific benefits of Durood Sharif in millions. Without exaggeration, he recited Durood Sharif billions of times in his life, or had it recited.
A few miracles:
It is proven from the Quran and Sunnah that Allah Almighty has bestowed miracles upon His righteous servants. Allah Almighty also bestowed countless miracles and glad tidings upon Hazrat Imam Hussain (may Allah have mercy on him) who are being recorded by reputable persons from different walks of life, the details of which are being published in his detailed biography. A few miracles are mentioned here for the readers: * In 1423 AH, I had the honor of performing Hajj to the House of Allah and visiting the Prophet (peace be upon him) with my father (may Allah have mercy on him). I requested my father to pray that I may be blessed with the protection and gracious glance of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). I kept praying this prayer repeatedly throughout this journey. On 8th Dhul-Hijjah 1423 AH in Mina, while asleep, I was blessed with a wonderful presence in the presence of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and was given the good news: “You have dual protection.” On 14th Dhul-Hijjah 1423 AH, I reached Madinah with my father. My father was seriously ill, unconscious and extremely weak. He was kept in a hotel and attended the presence of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the Prophet’s Mosque. After that, I came to the hotel. When I fell asleep, I was blessed with a presence in the presence of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and was given the good news that “Mararian Sharif has a connection (relationship and connection) with Madinah Sharif.”
Masjid Nabawi
* Hazrat Pir Syed Arabi Shah Sahib, who has been in seclusion in Masjid Nabawi for 35 years. He is a great Saim-ul-Dahr, Qaim-ul-Lail and Sahib Kashf-ul-Karamat. Before leaving for Madinah, he spent five months in the shrine of his grandfather, Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Nek-Alam Qadri (may Allah have mercy on him). In his written reflections, he says: I witnessed strange and unusual events during this retreat. I received countless blessings and blessings from the kind eyes of Hazrat Sahib Mazar (may Allah have mercy on him) and the training of Hazrat Khwaja Pir Muhammad Aslam Qadri. I was blessed with the visit of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), Mr. Ghaus-ul-Azam (may Allah be pleased with him) and other saints of Allah many times.
* Your disciple, Sadiq Maulana Muhammad Afzal Butt, employee of WAPDA Division No. 1, Gujarat and Khatib of Jamia Masjid Muhammadi, Mohalla Muslim Pura, Sargodha Road, Gujarat, has written in his condolences that after he took oath of allegiance to Hazrat Khwaja Pir Muhammad Aslam Qadri (may Allah have mercy on him), the thought took hold in his heart that what is the position and status of the Pir and Murshid? And this thought created a storm. He writes that there was an incident in 1985 that he was studying Seerat Farooqi in his free time in the office when he felt sleepy and Hazrat
After visiting the Pir and Murshid, he said: “Butt Sahib, don’t you know that Allah has granted me Qutbity?” I said, “Sir, I didn’t know.” I opened my eyes and then felt more sleepy than before. Pir and Murshid said: “Butt Sahib, Allah has placed the crown of Qutbity on my head.” He said this twice and then my eyes opened.
M British missionary Sahibzada Muhammad Dilshad Hussain Qadri writes that I said: Hazrat Pir Murshid! I am not getting children. A long time has passed. So Pir and Murshid took me to the court of Hazrat Sultan Bahu. He made me sit with him at the shrine of Sharif and meditated. While I was awake, I was blessed with the visitation of Hazrat Sultan Bahu (may Allah have mercy on him). He has big eyes and a bright face. He says: “God will grant you children very soon.” So Allah granted me a beautiful son (Muhammad Saeed Al-Mustafa). Hazrat Pir and Murshid said: Don’t tell anyone (in my life).
* Maulana Muhammad Afzal Butt, an employee of Wapda Division No. 1, Gujarat, has written in his memoirs that once I saw in a dream that we were in a big mansion with high walls and in it countless creatures were waiting for the arrival of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). I was also with the Qibla Pir and Murshid. Suddenly I saw that the palanquin of the Lord of the Worlds (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was coming, carried by some luminous creature. The palanquin was coming outside the wall. I asked the Qibla Pir and Murshid that the palanquin of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was coming. You started going towards the gate of the mansion. I am also following you. People are trying to get our hands to touch the palanquin in any way to get blessings. I also tried but could not touch it because the wall was high. When we reached the gate, the palanquin of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) also arrived there and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) came out of the palanquin with a white veil covering his blessed face. The Qibla-following Murshid Sahib went forward and kissed his hand and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) made him sit in the car, while his companions were already sitting in the car. The car started. I thought that I could not even touch the palanquin and there was no clear sight of the blessed face. When the car started moving, I clung to the back of the car and the car started moving. The car must have driven about a mile when one of his companions looked back and saw that I was clinging to the car. He laughed and said, “Where are you clinging to, O servant of Allah?” I said, “That’s it.” Finally, the car reached “Jami’a Qadriya Al-Alimiya” in Mararian Sharif and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) got out of the car and came very close to Mazar Sharif and said: “What a lovely place this is.” After that, he (PBUH) went to a room and his companions also went to the room and the Qibla Pir and Murshid started telling me: Butt Sahib, work harder! At that moment my eyes opened.
Farewell and funeral prayer: He had been seriously ill for a few years but continued to meet his companions. On Friday, 7th Dhul-Hijjah 1424 AH, the effects of a stroke appeared on his right side. The next day, he was admitted to the hospital where the doctors conducted various tests and prescribed treatment and asked to take him home after seven days. He stayed at home but his health could not recover. Then on Monday evening, 24th Dhul-Hijjah, his health deteriorated and he was admitted to the intensive care ward again at night. He passed away on Tuesday morning, 25th Dhul-Hijjah 1424/17th February 2004 at 10 am. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. His funeral prayer was offered the next day at 1:40 pm. Thousands of dignitaries and people from Pakistan and foreign countries attended the funeral. According to newspapers, this funeral was the biggest funeral in the history of Gujarat. For 29 hours after his death, his radiant face was visited day and night. It is surprising that with the passage of time, the complexion of ordinary dead people changes, but the face of Hazrat Vadhu was more radiant on the second day than on the first day and this radiance continued to increase until his burial. He was buried next to his father in Nikabad. Urs Mubarak: Every year on the 10th of Muharram (Ashura) from 9 am to noon prayer, he used to hold the “Martyrdom of Karbala Conference” with great devotion. His Urs Mubarak is also held along with this conference.
